I had a cleaner room and better experience at a 2 star Sleep Inn. This was a long review, butIdidn't want to leave anything out. I got lost trying to find the exit door where I parked my car. The elevators were dirty, housekeeping was nonexistent, at check out no one asked how was my stay. I told him it was almost 8pm and to forget it. By the time I got back to my room it was 45minutes later and the maintenance guy said he needed to reprogram something. I told her I was going to rate the hotel low on Priceline & Tripadvisor, she said nothing.
She never apologized, she just gave me another snack coupon. I told her no one bothered to tell me about snacks. When I went to the lobby they were cleaning up food and I asked the checkin girl does this hotel have a restaurant or something, she said they serve snacks and drinks 6:30-7:00pm. I passed a maintenance guy and asked him if he was looking for my room number, he said no, but he asked if Iwas having tv problems and he would go check. I told the guy, MTV is black? No one showed up so I decided to figure out how to get to the lobby and get some snacks. (I had dish before) so I know how to use cable. I called the front desk and he said that he would send maintenance up right away to show me how to use the cable. The cable wasn't working for the premium movie channel & some channels like MTV were blank.
The second room looked clean, but there were Cobb webs, and dust on all the lamps. This was a big inconvenience, the check in lady gave me a coupon for a free item from the store( wow). I called down to checkin and the lady apologized and said I need to come down to the lobby and get keys to a new room. The 1st room I was given was not cleaned, there was opened soap with a hair on it in the shower stall. The hotel is huge and it is laid out like a maze, very confusing to locate your room, the lobby, or where you parked your car. I received a great rate on Priceline for a one night stay after a holiday. I have stayed at this hotel before, and it was outstanding, but obviously, things have changed.
